Our clients needed an architect in St Austell, Cornwall to provide them with a Full Architectural Service for their 7 new seafront dwellings.
This site is located just below the Duporth Apartments scheme, owned by the same developer. We are proposing a series of 7 contemporary, detached dwellings that all face towards the sea in an elevated location. The upside-down configuration has a vaulted, first floor living space with a full width external balcony.
The design draws from traditional boathouse design, whilst the generous, overhanging roof and reveals provide solar shading and privacy from the adjoining units.
We hope to submit a planning application in the near future.
Eilir and Ian have been really impressive. They are both very creative, proactive and responsive and were able to obtain planning permission for a contemporary house in Salcombe. We are now progressing with the construction.
