Ashburton Listed Conversion
Keep Scrolling

Our clients needed an architect in Ashburton, Devon to provide them with a Full exterior and interior design service for their Refurbishment and Office Conversion.
The refurbishment and conversion of a disused rail Goods Shed. This historic, listed building is believed to be one of Brunel’s earliest buildings and sits alongside the old Ashburton Railway station.
The challenge was to keep the soul and integrity of the building, whilst providing 21st Century office accommodation over two floors.
As much of the historic building fabric was restored, with the existing roof trusses and sarking boards refurbished. Glass floors were also introduced, creating a visual reference to the original double height space.
Construction work was completed in July 2010.
