Our Team.


We are a team of six architects and designers in a studio that promotes discussion and collaboration. We enjoy our work immensely and challenge ourselves with each new commission.

Eilir Sheryn


Role: Managing Director
Q: What is your hidden talent / party piece?
A: I once beat the Ladies World Champion at darts
Q: Have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time?
A: Surrounded by a pod of killer whales whilst on a rowing boat.
Q: Have you ever met someone famous?
A: I met John Major, whilst he was PM, and told him how to run the country.

Frederieke van Ellen


Role: Finance Director
Q: Have you done something extreme or adventurous?
A: I climbed the highest mountain in South East Asia.
Q: Have you ever been in the wrong place, at the wrong time?
A: I once left the handbrake off in my Dad's car and it rolled into a canal.
Q: Have you ever met or had an encounter with anyone famous?
A: I sat next to Keith Allen on a plane: He quickly changed seats when he realised I had a toddler and a baby with me.

Ian Phillips


Role: Director
Q: Have you done something extreme or adventurous?
A: I Navigated a welsh mountain river on an inflatable pizza slice.
Q: Have you ever been in the right place, at the right time?
A: I Successfully defended my daughter’s ice cream from a seagull… with my face.

A: Tornado hunting in ‘Tornado Alley’, USA

Tom Souster


Role: Architect

A: I can walk on my hands
Q: Have you ever met someone famous?
A: I can't tell that story...

A: A round-the-world trip on a road bike, with just a back-pack and tent

Jim Morris


Role: Architect

A: My stunning wit.
Q: Have you ever met or had an encounter with anyone famous?
A: I bumped into Patrick Stewart in Trafalgar Square... He didn't look amused.
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
A: Savaloy sausages.

Simon Harris


Role: Architect
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
A: Low volume instrumental funk
Q: Have you ever done something extreme or dangerous?
A: I snowboarded down the Wengen world cup ski course in Switzerland... During the event.
Q: Have you ever been in the right place at the right time?
A: Any beer garden next to water, at the end of a warm summer's day.

Leon Bell


Role: Architectural Assistant
Q: Do you know a lot about something - especially something uncommon
A: Antique furniture and decor.
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
A: Pink & White's marshmallow wafers.
Q: Have you ever done something extreme or adventurous
A: I tried to make a tradition out of swimming Ullswater in Mid December. Did it once, never again.
